DESHINE

I am loving that we are hearing about loads of new bands emerging from Liverpool in 2024

Deshine are the latest to come to my attention.

Dishine consist of Donnie and Lisa. Originally from Chile and Ukraine respectively. They have migrated to the UK (Welcome guys!) and located to Liverpool, inspired mainly by their love of the Beatles.

Thankfully they ain’t another Beatles tribute band and they write and perform their own material.

Their music is as much inspired by the La’s, Oasis and The Stone Roses as it is by the Beatles.

They currently have a new single out, “Take Me Along” which you can listen to on Spotify here

Its wonderful indie pop anthem, brimming with swagger and confidence. It seems like this one is heavily Oasis inspired, so if that’s your thing, get onto Deshine now.

Sally and Underclass are a bit heavier but equally as catchy, whilst Nina is more retrospective.

My own personal favourite is Underclass of the YouTube choices. Its a lot more original and snarly

They definitely deserve to be included in the current wave of new indie pop bands delighting us.

Although I haven’t seen them live yet, you will see that they look like a really exciting prospect. They literally revel in the bands that have influenced them!
